The doctor alone shall judge how he/she uses STERIVEIN (sterile sclerosing foam) or Sclerivein (non-sterile
sclerosing foam). We recommend using the sterile foam in all circumstances, in order to avoid any septic complications.

Avoid injecting excessive volumes of foam (no more than 20 ml per session).

Halve the concentration of sclerosants when used as foam compared to liquid forms (to limit the side effects).

Change the density of the foam to suit the circumstances : fluid for small vessels, compact and dense for large diameter vessels, major vessels and veins with reflux.
